From the drawing board to customer contact: a systematic approach
Dominique Maring began his professional career as a technical draughtsman. After working in internal sales and as a workshop manager, he quickly became a specialist in pressure control technology, safety valves, control valves and pneumatic solenoid valves. He has been working in valve technology since 1996 and, with customers such as Sanofi, GSK, Pfizer and the French shipbuilder Chantiers de l'Atlantique, he is very familiar with the requirements of a wide range of industries.
‘We constantly receive different requests and it's important to find out what really suits the application. For me, customer service is the top priority.’, says Dominique Maring about his approach to sales.
Technical expertise meets consulting competence
What is particularly important to Dominique is expert advice, product quality and trust.
Before deciding on Goetze, Dominique researched suppliers in the fittings market in four different countries. His conclusion:

Despite his responsibility for French-speaking countries, Dominique Maring's choice is clear when asked ‘baguette or pretzel?’ ‘Bretzel, tout de suite!’ As an Alsatian, he feels just as connected to the southern German way of life as he does to the French mentality.
When asked which Goetze valve best suits him, Dominique doesn't have to think twice: the 492 model – a high-pressure valve for hydrogen applications (up to 1500 bar). For him, it's more than just a product – it's a symbol of resilience.
Just like the valve, he stands for reliability and keeping a cool head under pressure. In doing so, Dominique also embodies the Goetze guiding principle in his own personal way:
