News 04/05/2026New backflow preventers for reliable drinking water safety – compact, lead-free, efficient

With the new 9660, 9640, 9661 and 9641 series, GOETZE is expanding its portfolio to include a future-proof product range designed to provide reliable protection for drinking water systems in accordance with DIN EN 1717.

With the launch of its new series of backflow preventers, GOETZE is introducing a new product range in the field of water and building technology. The 9660, 9640, 9661 and 9641 series have been specifically developed to reliably protect drinking water systems against back-pressure, backflow and back-sucking up to and including fluid category 4.

All backflow preventers are based on the proven Type BA principle with three pressure zones (p1 > p2 > p3), thereby ensuring the safe separation of drinking water and non-potable water – in industrial, commercial and domestic applications alike.

The series cater to a variety of installation scenarios and requirements:

9660 / 9640: Compact solutions in DN10 for integrated applications

9661 / 9641: flexible options for tap and standpipe connections

There is a particular focus on current market requirements: lead-free materials, low pressure drop and a compact design ensure maximum operational reliability, efficiency and easy integration. At the same time, the products address typical issues in the market, such as dripping drain valves or stuck cartridges.

With this product group, GOETZE offers a cost-effective, low-maintenance and sustainable solution for modern drinking water installations.
