Pressure reducing valves for hot water, process vapours and steam-fed supply systems

The 486 series is a stainless steel pressure reducing valve for hot water, steam, air, gases and vapours. It automatically reduces high inlet pressure to a constant outlet pressure and ensures reliable pressure control in technical supply and process systems.

Typical applications include steam generators, laundries, steam ironing stations and systems for cleaning and textile treatment using steam. Furthermore, the series is suitable for applications involving vapours as well as non-hazardous, non-flammable gaseous media.

Thanks to its robust piston design, stainless steel construction and temperature resistance up to +200 °C, the 486 series is sized for use in hot water and steam applications.
