Main function: Target working pressure control
The primary function of this combination regulator is the reliable adjustment of the target working pressure at the tank, which is essential for efficient gas extraction. When gas extraction is high, the regulator automatically adjusts the pressure to ensure a continuous and effective supply.

Pressure reduction regulator: Economiser function
If the pressure in the tank rises above the set value when gas extraction is low, the economiser function is activated. This intelligent feature delays the response of overflow regulators or safety valves and thus prevents unintentional depressurisation into the atmosphere.

Integrated safety function
The integrated function, which effectively relieves the pressure in the event of thermal expansion, provides additional safety. This ensures safe operation under various conditions.

High-quality materials for durability and precision
GOETZE attaches particular importance to quality and durability. The Series 2980 pressure regulator has two high-quality stainless steel bellows and a body made of lead-reduced gunmetal, which guarantees vibration-free operation. The special PTFE seat seal in combination with an improved seat/plug contour ensures permanently tight shut-offs.

Customisable and versatile
This pressure regulator is available in three different pressure ranges and can be individually adjusted up to a pressure of 38 bar. It is characterised by its flexibility over a wide temperature range and its outstanding control quality. For use with cryogenic liquefied oxygen, the regulator is always manufactured free of oil and grease.
