Technical News 22/10/2026New drinking water approvals: Kiwa and VA for GOETZE pressure reducing valves
GOETZE pressure reducing valves made from lead-free gunmetal (9000 series) and stainless steel (9040 series) now hold Dutch Kiwa certification and Danish VA approval. Both certificates confirm compliance with the relevant national requirements for use in drinking water installations.

Kiwa certification for the Netherlands
Certification in accordance with the Kiwa assessment guideline BRL-K14004 covers the requirements of the European standard EN 1567:2002. It takes into account both hydraulic and functional characteristics as well as drinking water hygiene requirements. This provides recognised product certification for the Dutch drinking water market.
VA approval for Denmark
The VA approval granted by ETA-Danmark A/S confirms compliance with the requirements for mechanical and physical properties as set out in Section 418 of the Danish Building Regulations. It provides an important basis for the use of pressure reducing valves in Danish water installations in accordance with the relevant standards.
Further evidence of international deployment
The new certifications and approvals complement the existing DVGW type-test certificates. They confirm compliance with country-specific requirements and facilitate the selection of suitable products and the planning of drinking water installations in the Netherlands and Denmark.
