The flanged safety valves in the 255bHL series are characterised by their robust design, made of high-quality cast steel, and are available in nominal diameters from DN 15 to DN 100. With a consistent performance, function and design concept, these valves offer maximum flexibility thanks to the option of vertical or horizontal mounting.
Thanks to their compact height and optional full nozzle design, the valves are particularly easy to maintain and ideal for demanding applications. The full-metal construction also allows use at high ambient or radiation temperatures, making the 255bHL series a long-lasting and reliable solution.
This series of standard lift safety valves has been specially developed for protecting closed, thermostatically ensured water heating systems with flow temperatures of up to 120°C. It fulfils all the relevant requirements of TRD 721, DIN 4751 and DIN EN 12828, which also makes it suitable for static heights or nominal outputs above 350 kW.
