News 14/06/2024 NEW: The 4420 & 4450 series
Our stainless steel valves with single trim design
The new stainless steel valves in the 4420/4450 series from GOETZE have been specially developed for use in pressure vessels and systems, and are suitable for neutral and non-neutral gases, vapours and liquids. These valves offer high flexibility and performance due to their technical characteristics.
Technical features and flexibility
A key feature of the 4420/4450 series is the availability of a diaphragm for applications up to a pressure of 16 bar. Without a diaphragm, the valves can be used in pressure ranges up to 25bar. The diaphragm protects the internal mechanics of the valve, including the guide plate, spindle and spring, from dirt and wear.
In addition to standardised threaded connections such as male/female threads according to ISO/NPT standards, the optional aseptic and special connections allow further adaptation to specific needs and areas of application. This flexibility also makes the valves ideal for sensitive areas such as the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, especially in combination with the diaphragm.
Maintenance-friendly design
The single-trim design with a uniform spindle assembly across the entire pressure range simplifies maintenance and makes the valves ideal for use in service workshops. The 4420 and 4450 series are available in nominal diameters from DN15 to DN32, whereby the 4450 series also has a valve outlet that is one nominal diameter larger.
International safety standards
The application for ASME approval for the 4420/4450 series underlines compliance with internationally recognised safety standards and emphasises GOETZE's commitment to quality and safety.
The 4420/4450 series from GOETZE is particularly versatile and is ideal for a wide range of industrial applications. These include steam boiler and steam systems, chemical plants and biogas plants. These valves also provide valuable services in desalination plants, apparatus engineering and medical technology. In addition, their special configuration options and aseptic design options make them ideal for shipbuilding and equipment as well as for the demanding areas of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. Their compact design and high blow-off capacity make them an optimal solution for diverse and demanding industrial contexts.
