Several PVDF valve blocks were developed and manufactured for a pharmaceutical production process. The designs are precisely tailored to the process medium and the conditions in each case for installation and operation.
During the manufacture of a pharmaceutical intermediate, stainless steel did not offer sufficient chemical resistance to the process medium used. Consequently, the high-performance thermoplastic PVDF was employed.
The valve blocks were custom-designed and manufactured in accordance with the process and installation requirements. The various designs are shown both as finished valve blocks and as fully assembled valves with compact diaphragm actuators and position indicators.
This project demonstrates how material expertise, application-specific advice and precision manufacturing combine to create a technically relevant valve solution. This enables the development of solutions that go beyond the standard range, even when dealing with demanding media, specific material requirements or individual installation scenarios.
