What does ATEX mean?
ATEX stands for the abbreviation of the French term for explosive atmospheres "atmosphères explosibles".
Goetze valves are fundamentally suitable for use in potentially explosive areas. Consequently they were subjected to a conformity assessment according to the ATEX Product Directive 2014/34/EU. As an independent, notified body, theTÜV SÜD was commissioned with the assessment of our products.
