With the 493 series, we are expanding our product portfolio to include two high-performance high-pressure overflow valves that meet the increasing demands of modern industrial applications. The series includes two different designs – Design I and Design III – that are specifically tailored to various installation situations, pressure ranges and operating conditions. Whether in hydrogen compression, pump protection or gas liquefaction – the 493 series is the optimal solution for demanding high-pressure applications.

Design I – Compact, lightweight and flexible for confined installation spaces
The compact design of design I saves space during installation. This design is the ideal choice for systems with limited space.

- Temperature range: -320 °F to +392 °F
- Opening characteristic: proportional
- Rotatable angle housing for flexible installation

Design III – Robust and powerful for high pressure ranges
Design III is designed for applications in which high pressures and demanding operating conditions are the main factors. With its fixed angle housing, it offers maximum stability and is ideally suited for use in systems with high back pressures.

- Nominal diameter: DN10
- Temperature range: +14 °F to +302 °F
- Opening characteristic: proportional
- Back-pressure compensated up to 500 bar
